Welcome to MJ Gillan Ltd, a fine watch and jewellery consultancy based in Great Britain.

The proprietor, Malcolm Gillan, has worked for 25 years in the luxury watch and jewellery industry.  He started as an apprentice watchmaker, training for seven years at the renowned Edinburgh jewellers, Hamilton & Inches Ltd.  Within this firm, he proceeded to the sales department, gaining extensive experience in the supply of new and vintage timepieces and fine jewellery.  Eventually, he became Sales Director and finally a co-owner of the business.

Today, he runs his own consultancy serving private clients, both within Great Britain and abroad. Using his extensive contacts within the jewellery industry, he sources the rarest and most desirable timepieces and fine quality jewels.

Working privately, without a retail showroom, MJ Gillan Ltd is often able to quote prices significantly lower than those offered elsewhere, with no compromise on the quality of the items or the expertise and discretion of the service.
